Central Idea: Our need to share our feelings and ideas drives us to develop effective ways to communicate.

 

We read a variety of books to help us understand benefits and challenges of communication:

During this unit, we are practicing research skills that will help us with our final landform website project!

During this unit, we explore and map contributions from influential people around the world. 

 

We use World Book Online to gather information.

 

Welcome to the library, third grade students!

Third grade students visit the library once per week to check out books. Specific schedules are available through classroom teachers.
 
Our librarian, Mrs. Amundson, also collaborates with the third grade team to provide unit resources, develop unit projects, and co-teach unit inquiry/research activities.
